My Skins, Scraps, and Misc Pieces

Description

Taken with my phone! Sorry for quality!

Well, here's a picture of my collection of skins, scraps, and misc. I will try my best to clearly title each skin, but if you are confused, do not be afraid to ask. If you are interested in a particular skin (even if you are not interested in purchasing it), don't hesitate to tell me and I'll post up a more detailed pic.

Anything that was a gift from my dad is nonnegotiable, not-for-sale.

Far bottom left: clipped off, but just an assortment of little scraps of rabbit and beaver.

Bottom: rabbit pelts. One is so soft that it is the softest pelt I have ever had the honor of touching (softer even than my three beavers). The large one I traded for at a trapper's rendezvous, the other, very soft one was my dad's so I can't even start to guess the origin.

Above rabbits, center/left side: three beavers. Far left is a light colored shaved pelt, middle is a dark, deep, luxurious shaved pelt, and the right of them is a mid-toned pelt that is not shaved but still very soft. All three were previously my dad's, who has had them for many years, so I can't even begin to guess the sources.

Far right: opposum, with intact and shaped face. Eyes sewn shut in a sleeping look, though stitches are easily removed. Case skinned.

Next to possom: striped skunk. Picture does no justice. Clear markings, white is white and black is black, with intact and shaped face. Eyes sewn shut in a sleeping look, though stitches are easily removed. Case skinned. Me and my dad love her to bits.

Below opposum: squirrel pelt salvaged from a roadkill. Couldn't save the whole pelt but of what I did, it's a deep winter coat and good condition. A little bit stiff since it was like my second pelt tanned ever.

Above dark beaver pelt: two tails, one is a fox my friend got me, one is my dad's raccoon tail.

To left of tails: various scraps of rabbit, beaver, and flying squirrel.

To right of tails: muskrat pelt. Super soft and glossy. It was my dad's.

Above tails, muskrat and scraps: beautiful red raccoon pelt. One of the most beautiful colors I've seen in raccoon, the pic does no justice. Bad tanning job; on contact with water, the leather crystallizes and becomes very fragile. Glue inside the nose to keep it intact, and the front of the face is separate from the pelt as it got wet, became brittle, and broke off. One of my most regretted mistakes I made as a noob.

Underneath all the pelts: beautiful, thin, soft deer pelt. Gift from my dad.

If you are interested in seeing pictures of any of these items (even if you don't look to purchase!) don't hesitate to ask. Not all of these are for sale; it depends on offer and my attachment. Ask any questions.
