Okay, this is the full grown male coyote I bought in my moment of insanity at the auction. He'll be the largest pelt I have ever worked on. The picture does no justice -- this fellow is huge. Once he's tanned, I think I might sell him but I'm not sure yet. I can't say coyotes resonate very powerfully with me, but perhaps after tanning I'll have a change of heart. Who knows?

Yes, I feel very strongly connected to badgers, bears and crows. To a lesser degree, racoons as well. But I've never really had an attraction to coyotes. I like wolves, but I can't say they're super special to me, either.
I'm going to see how I feel about him after I've tanned him and done some real work on him, but my current guess is that I will be selling him. Not sure for how much, it'll all depend on how he turns out since I will say right out that I have never tanned a coyote before. So we'll see about it once he's done
